Consumer Reports’ June 2011 Lock Ratings have been released as Kwikset and the nation prepare to enter National Safety Month in June.

After conducting a national survey count on deadbolt locks, Consumer Reports found that 67 percent of respondents count on deadbolt locks to help keep their homes secure. Kwikset SmartCode products are quick and easy to install, requiring no hardwiring. The SmartCode electronic locks allow homeowners to program a personal code between four and eight digits on the lock’s touchpad.
